What You’ll Learn

Your learning is organized into focused courses that build step-by-step:
  • Foundations of Medical Assisting
    Role of the medical assistant, healthcare systems, laws & ethics, infection control, vital signs, and professional communication.
  • Medication Administration & Diagnostic Testing
    Pharmacology basics, dose calculations, injections, blood draws, clinical lab procedures, and CLIA-waived testing.
  • Cardiac & Respiratory Assisting
    EKG performance and interpretation, pulmonary function tests, and emergency response training including BLS/CPR and AED use.
  • Administrative Procedures
    EHR documentation, medical records, coding and billing, insurance verification, scheduling, and office workflow.
  • Specialized Clinical Assisting I & II
    Neurology, dermatology, nutrition, surgical assisting, multiorgan systems, and reproductive care (OB/GYN, urology, gastroenterology, endocrinology).
  • Specialized Patient Care Assisting
    Pediatric, orthopedic, and geriatric care, including immunizations, mobility support, and safe patient transfers.
  • Professional Development & Certification Review
    Job readiness skills, resume and interview prep, and structured CCMA exam review.
  • Medical Assistant Externship
    80 hours of supervised, real-world experience in a clinical environment.

How the Hybrid Format Works

  • Our program is designed for busy adults who need flexibility without sacrificing hands-on learning.

    • Online Coursework:
      Complete interactive modules, videos, 3D simulations, and AI-driven scenarios on your own schedule each week.

    • In-Person Labs (Every Other Week):
      Attend scheduled lab sessions to practice real-world skills like injections, phlebotomy, EKG lead placement, and assisting with procedures under the guidance of experienced medical assistant professionals.

    • Externship Experience:
      Finish your training with an 80-hour externship, where you’ll observe and assist in an actual healthcare setting—building confidence, connections, and experience for your resume.
